Morning Sketch #1

So I have been listening to a lot of art moto lately. In these pod casts they talk a lot about drawing all the time, ALL the time. Not just on break at work, or some time during the day at your art desk. They talk about in the bathroom, watching tv, in between rounds of video games, and in this case, the first 15 min after you wake up. Bobby Chiu was talking how imaginative you are in your dreams, and he said how that may be able to transfer in to the awake state, and it would be most predominant right after you wake up, so, samurai-bean.

INTENCSITY Club #5: Unlucky Explorer

So I found this today. It is a live competition on sketchoholic.com. On tue nights u sign in, watch a video and sketch with them. It is an hour long, as in the piece needs to be in by the end of the hour, so like 50 min draw time. This is an old one but I tried it out. I think i will try to do it every week it was a LOT of fun. This one was #5 and this is who won. Well done for 1 hour man!

How I help sis

My sister asked for help with her project. She needed a pencil w/ paper and a brain so she can write in them. Its a Things they Carry project. This is what happened, she ended up just doing her own when she walked in and saw this happening. I was going to do it normaly.

So because I like the Xbox over the PS3 my friend refers to me as a "Xbot". I guess this means that your someone who blindly likes the Xbox over anything else, disregarding its flaws. (if im wrong this is what i got out of it) No one hates the red ring like an xbox owner my friend. I just like gaming first. And I believe the use of this word proves that its better ;)

So I haven't updated at all... shame on me. I got really busy with graduation then post graduation laziness, but I'm back on the horse. So just because i didn't update dose not mean i didn't draw, but nothing serous. So here is some stuff, new and old.

I sketched this wail my friend was making fun of him self Borat style. For those who don't know, in the move they make fun of Jews for being demon or something, I don't remember. The main thing is that human isn't there true form, so here is a little monster guy playing a draddle. In the movie they are all mean but they don't have to be right?
